GB Camp

On Fri, me and Joey went back home earlier cos we got camp. We went to Compass point, ate our lunch and Joey and I went to my hse. We bathe and made sure that we brought everything. Then, we took a cab back to school. Kexin was already there by the time we reached. Got lots of ppl came back to take results. Saw the NPCC ppl doing drills in the hot sun at the parade square.
After everyone gathered, the seniors led us to a bus-stop to take a bus to the church. Then, we reached the church and went into the multi purpose hall. We had to go into grps which the secs 3 organised.and all grps consist of all levels. I was in grp 1 while Joey and Kexin was in grp 4. *sobs* No one same grp as me...Firstly, they had to have a bag search to make sure that you do not bring the items prohibited or else they will deduct points from yr grp. Then, we started playing games for warm up. After that, we went to a park nearby. Ate pizzas there. we also played a game called the 'Amazing Trail' We were given clues to find the items in the park. There was once when we asked our advisor and we had to do something to get a more detailed clue from her. We had to climb up the 'spider web' and shout'gongxigongxi' and we received a clue which we managed to find the item. another one was when we had to stand on the platform at the park and shout 'shuaige' infront of the grp of boys playing soccer. It was quite funny. We also had to catch an life ant for the bonus question. We also managed to keep it alive and not squashed by other things in the plastic bag. After the game, it was the release of results and our grp got full marks!!!
Then, we went back to the church. We had to go to the auditorium which was in semi-darkness and we had to use our torchlights. We had to keep silence. Then, we were given the first challenge. We had to crack our brains to think. We also had to find a packet of sweets under the chairs in the auditorium to proceed to the next one. At first the 'oracle' thought that the offering was a chocolate which we gave. But later, they said that we got the wrong one and had to go back and find the sweets.we found it and continued with the next one. We were the 4th grp to complete which was the last 2nd grp. But we had the most points for the new year cheers which made us catch up with the rest but we also forget to bring things. Then by the time, it was 11p.m. We had our supper and celebrated jan and Feb ppl b-day. Joey was the birthday girl that night cos that day was her b-day and she was the oldest among all the sec 1s.We ate cup noodles and went to the toilets instructed by the organizers.After bathing, we also had to do toilet duty and make sure that the toilet is clean and dry. Waited for Staff Wang to come. We had to fall in. We failed cos there were tissue particles in the floor. After picking up, we did the drills again and succeeded. We went to sleep at 1a.m...
